I can’t say enough good things about LeAnn. I will forever be grateful that I found her. I had no idea what a doula was until about half way through my second pregnancy and hired LeAnn a little late in the game. I lived an hour and a half away from her, traveling to Tallahassee to see a VBAC friendly provider, and my husband was out of town for most of my third trimester. In spite of the circumstances, she was so accommodating and a wealth of information. She helped me thoroughly explore so many aspects of birth to ensure that I was as informed as possible. It was obvious that she sincerely cared about helping me have the birth experience I wanted. My husband didn’t get a chance to meet her until the day I went into labor (which was actually the day we had planned on them meeting) but he later said that it never felt like he hadn’t met her and was so glad she was there with us. She has such a calming and positive presence that helped both my husband and I stay focused and centered during labor. I don’t know what we would have done without LeAnn on our team. She has been and continues to be such a blessing in our lives.
