LeAnn was an amazing doula. I wasn’t sure I needed a doula, since it was my third birth and I had had two previous uncomplicated labors. But her calm, nurturing personality is so  encouraging that I thought it would be a good idea. I am so glad I did! even though it was my third birth, it was my longest and most difficult active labor. LeAnn was by my side the whole time.

Her gentle, unintrusive presence gave me the support I needed, and allowed me to focus inward. She seemed to know what I needed without me even asking; she brought me water, applied counter pressure, and suggested position changes without being pushy.

After my son was born, my husband said, “I don’t know what we would have done without LeAnn!” She was so supportive and caring when we were both exhausted, and her calm energy really kept us both going. She has a gift for this, and I would recommend her to anyone.
